Locate Full Text and Download links in the database

When you find an eBook in EBSCO, you can access it right in the eBook's detailed record page on the left side. You can either view it in your browser as a PDF or you can download the full text.

Using the PDF Full Text viewer

Clicking the 'PDF Full Text' link on the eBook's detailed record page allows you to view the eBook in your browser.

On the left there is a table of contents that allows you to jump to various parts of the eBook. Above the table of contents you'll find an options to search the entire the eBook for specific words or phrases and a spot to save notes (saving notes requires logging into an EBSCOhost account).

At the top there is a bar that gives other useful options such as printing specific pages or establishing a permalink so you can get back to the eBook later.

Using the Full Download option

Clicking on the 'Full Download' option on the book's detailed record page allows you to download the eBook instead of viewing it in your browser. This is useful if you want to be able to access the book while offline.

Downloading eBooks requires logging into an EBSCOhost account (accounts are free to create). The downloaded eBook is available in PDF format (or EPUB if you're on a mobile device) and requires an application such as Adobe Digital Editions to access. Some eBooks may be DRM-free, meaning they do not require a login or Adobe Digital Editions.

If you are experiencing any difficulties accessing EBSCO eBooks, please contact a librarian.
